Crafted from select Spanish Cedar, the body delivers a responsive resonance and warm tonal foundation, renowned for its dynamic midrange and lightweight character. Capped with a stunning Curly Maple top featuring faux binding, this instrument radiates elegance under its Multi-Color Burst gloss finish — reminiscent of sunlit waves meeting the shore. The back, coated in a Lambo Matte Thin Polyurethane, adds a modern contrast while preserving the guitar’s natural acoustic liveliness.

The South American Mahogany neck provides exceptional stability and sustain, pairing perfectly with the Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. Accentuated by Flame Maple binding and custom “S” markers, the 22-fret board offers both luxurious feel and striking aesthetic. With a 24.562" scale length and Jescar 47104 nickel fretwire, the playability is effortless and expressive, ideal for both fluid leads and articulate chord work.

Precision-engineered hardware enhances both tone and reliability. The VegaTrem VT1 bridge introduces a new era of vibrato performance, maintaining tuning stability while allowing silky pitch modulation. Hipshot GripLock Open-Gear tuners with pearl buttons add a refined touch, ensuring swift and secure tuning. At its core, La Playa is driven by a unique fusion of classic and modern voice: a DiMarzio SDS-1 in the neck for warm single-coil clarity, a DiMarzio FS-1 in the middle adding bite and presence, and a Gibson Custombucker in the bridge delivering vintage-style richness and power. With CTS Superpots (550k), a Switchcraft 3-way toggle, and Switchcraft output jack, the tonal path is pure, transparent, and touch-sensitive — ready for studio precision or expressive stage performance.
