The Master Series Sonora Custom is a meticulously crafted guitar that represents the pinnacle of Daniel's expertise in guitar building. This instrument is the result of years of research and development, focusing on the critical connection between the neck and body to achieve optimal resonance and playability.
The guitar features a South American Mahogany body, providing a warm and rich tonal foundation. The Eastern Curly Maple top and back add visual elegance and contribute to the instrument's bright, articulate sound. The South American Mahogany neck ensures stability and enhances sustain, while the Brazilian Rosewood fretboard offers a luxurious playing surface with superior tonal properties.
With a 24.562" scale length and 22 frets adorned with cellulose nitrate inlays, this guitar offers excellent playability and a classic aesthetic. The Jescar 47104 stainless steel fretwire ensures long-lasting performance and smooth action.
The hardware is carefully selected to complement the guitar's tonal characteristics. An ABR-1 style bridge and lightweight tailpiece provide excellent sustain and intonation stability. The Top Hat knobs offer precise control, while the Grover Milk Bottle tuners ensure accurate and stable tuning.
At the heart of this instrument are the Ballestone PAF pickups, featuring NOS (New Old Stock) wire and screws. These pickups deliver a vintage-inspired tone with exceptional clarity and dynamics.

Crafted from personally selected exotic tonewoods sourced from South America, including mahogany, Patagonian lenga, rosewood, jacaranda, Bolivian pau ferro, and other native species. These woods, paired with expert construction techniques and finishing, result in a visually stunning piece with superior tone.
Electronics & Hardware
Only the highest quality components, including potentiometers (CTS, VIPots) and capacitors (Sprague, Luxe), each of which we measure individually before installation. When it comes to pickups, we choose to work exclusively with boutique brands that personally craft each one, embodying the same handcrafted spirit that defines our instruments.
Finish & Aging
From oil finishes to custom colors and varnishes, we work closely with our clients to select an option that elevates the beauty and tone of their guitar. Our finishes include nitrocellulose lacquer, polyester, metallic colors, translucent and solid options in both satin and gloss, and various levels of relicing.
